Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Uncategorized Jan 26, 2017

Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!”

What a great way to start anything.  I absolutely love Dr. Seuss and the stories he has to offer about life. This story paints a picture for everyone, that Anything is possible.  You are in control of your own destiny.  Not anyone else, not any one political system or boss or company.  You!

“You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.”

Absolutely, anything you put your mind, heart and soul into can become a reality.  I’ve always loved to travel.  From the day I took my first trip to Seattle by train, departing from our little Montana town, with my parents and brother.  I had the bug.  The excitement of what is new and how much more is out there to discover.  The image is a picture from my resort earlier this month.  I had the blessing of teaching a real estate course in Gaum to some great students and what an adventure it was.

It’s not always easy, but it is up to you and your desire to make it a reality.  There are always struggles and challenges along the way.

“I'm sorry to say so
but, sadly, it's true
that Bang-ups
and Hang-ups
can happen to you.”

Don’t let these failures hold you back.  Push through the struggles.  Push through the pain.  The reward is right around the corner.  If you put both your mind and your energy into what you want and take daily steps to achieve it, you will be blessed with the rewards you’ve strived for.  Beyond that, don’t forget to enjoy the ride along the way.  Here’s to all the Places You’ll Go!
